I’ve just had an idea I may use in my teaching, and since I’m trying to use this blog for collecting my thoughts… here goes: Set a homework task for students to add 3 (or whatever amount is appropriate) examples of a certain skill to a class wiki. For example, suppose we are studying logarithms.

Whilst researching the above question for my H800 course I found the following interesting blog post from the Educational Paradigms blog: Teaching Is Not About Knowing (Anymore) I think this quote summarises the post very well: It’s not about knowing. A piece of software I use to store all my passwords, and more importantly, create passwords of high strength is KeePass. I only have to remember one password to open up KeePass and it does everything else. It’s very portable too – I use the zip package so I can carry it around with me
